Key Responsibilities:

- Customize Shopify themes to meet design and functionality specifications, including layout, navigation, and product presentation.

- Integrate and configure Shopify apps to enhance website functionality, such as payment gateways, inventory management, and marketing tools.
- Ensure seamless communication between Shopify and third-party systems.
- Monitor and optimize website performance, including page load times, site speed, and mobile responsiveness.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and visibility.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues, ensuring website functionality across various browsers and devices.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates to keep the website secure and up-to-date.
- Work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to gather requirements and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team and clients.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including coding standards, development processes, and system configurations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends, Shopify updates, and web development technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in Shopify development, including theme customization and app integration.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
- Familiarity with web design principles, responsive design, and UX/UI best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics.
